NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER

Again this year we will be having the event at Sacred Heart in Kingston. The weather is uncertain in early May and makes planning difficult. We had a wonderful event at Sacred Heart last year and feel this would be the best option. We plan on having prayer events around the Monument the day before and the day after. A email will be sent to update the prayer events.

2024 Theme

“Lift Up The Word – Light Up The World”

For you are my lamp, O Lord, and my God lightens my darkness. For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. This God – his way is perfect: the word of the Lord proves true; He is shield for all those who take refuge in Him.

2 Samuel 22: 29-31

Thursday, May 2nd

4:00 pm – 6:30 pm

New Hope Chapel

Sacred Heart High School

Please come and join with us to pray for our families, our town, our churches, our local and state government, our federal government and our nation.

The National Monument to the Forefathers is called the “Matrix of Liberty”. One monument with five statues that highlight the love the Pilgrims had for God and by extension for each other. They made a voluntary covenant with God and each other to walk in all His ways and to be stepping stones for generations to come by spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ the Savior of the world. They knew that this was the only true path to liberty. We hope you will join us as we gather together for prayer, worship, and our annual renewal of the covenant.

Speaking again this year will be Mark Meckler, President of Convention of States Foundation & Convention of States Action (COSA) with over 5 million supporters and activists, representing every state legislative district in the nation.

Mark appears regularly on television, radio and online discussing the conservative grassroots perspective on political issues. Before COSA, Mark was the Co-Founder of Tea Party Patriots.

Leo & Nancy Martin, founders of the Jenney Interpretive Centre, have been sponsoring and hosting the annual National Day of Prayer at the Forefathers Monument for many years.

Leo, a speaker, author, and historian, has been conducting historical tours and educational programs in Plymouth for the past 22 years. Leo and Nancy travel the nation speaking and teaching about the story of the Pilgrims and how they formed the beginning of our country on Biblical principles.

The Jenney Interpretive Centre is the local coordinator and one of the sponsors of the program. Leo and Nancy Martin, co-founders, host the event in Plymouth at the Monument each year.
The Day of Prayer Plymouth is a free event.

Donations will be taken to help support the expenses of the event.
